Billie Day
The profile this month is on Billie Day of OnSite
Solutions, Inc. Billie joined NAWBO early in 2003, and has served
on the Public Policy Committee. She helped to represent the
D/FW Chapter in Washington D.C. in February at the Public Policy
Days Annual Conference. As she said recently, “When I’m in,
I’m really in.” She also recently joined the Corporate Partner
Committee and volunteered to focus on retention of partners.
She is planning to join a Mastermind group, as well.
Billie started her consulting firm in 1988 to help
companies, teams, and individuals improve measurable, real time
results. Her pragmatic approach to strengthening relationships,
capabilities, structure and processes have made her a confidant
and key advisor to many organizations and individuals in a broad
range of industries and non-profits. Her clients run from small
firms to some of the global giants. Her firm’s focus is on assisting
you with your unique situation and what you need.
Some of OnSite’s specific areas of expertise include:
- Organization and Work Design
- Leadership Development and Management Team Effectiveness
- Team Accountability
- Rewards/Compensation Strategy and Programs
- Planning and Implementing Major Changes
- Training Programs
- Event Planning
She is proud of the strong relationships she maintains
with her clients. Over 90% of them retain her firm for more than
one project. Although it is a cliché, she truly does become a partner
with her clients to get the best results possible.
She also owns an Ace Hardware store in Denton, Texas
that is run by her husband and son. Her experiences in the retail
industry have helped to keep her focus on solutions that work versus
“touchy-feely” approaches.
She is a graduate of Leadership Texas and has served
on multiple boards of directors in the non-profit arena.
