Kim Schlossberg
This month’s Member Profile is on Kim Schlossberg
of Kim Schlossberg Designs. Kim joined NAWBO in the Spring of 2003
to meet a variety of interesting and successful women, to increase
her business, and to find trusted resources. According to Kim, “The
women in NAWBO are both inspirational and supportive. I think I
could probably find the answer to any question within the membership
of NAWBO.”
There’s no doubt that Kim’s success in NAWBO can be
attributed to her getting involved. She is on the Marketing/PR Committee,
which gives her the opportunity to meet with professionals in fields
related to hers and to contribute in areas where her skills are
strongest – graphic design and writing.
Kim was also asked to design the Annual Event Program.
She said, “It was a great opportunity to jump right in and work
with some wonderful, committed, professional women.” It was also
a tremendous opportunity to raise awareness for her business.
Kim Schlossberg Designs helps clients look good and
achieve powerful results by developing and presenting their most
effective message and image. They integrate creative graphic design;
clear, compelling writing; and functional web design and implementation
to help clients communicate their strongest message to the right
audience. They provide
• Marketing Strategy (including logos, branding and
corporate identity)
• Web Design & Development
• Marketing Collateral
• Newsletters
• Copywriting
• Trade Show Booths
Kim serves businesses of all sizes and in a variety
of industries, including real estate, finance, professional services,
and aviation.
Kim loves helping people find new solutions to old
problems, and particularly helping them see strength or a selling
point they didn’t realize they had. She enjoys working collaboratively
with people – both clients and colleagues, and strongly believes
that not only are two heads better than one, often two heads working
together are better than two heads working apart.
In her spare time, Kim enjoys cooking, gardening and
travel, as well as her niece and three nephews. She is also a big
believer in the work of the Chiapas project, and has committed to
supporting them every month. This election year the rest of her
volunteer efforts are going towards getting some good candidates
elected.
