Free Legal Hotline from Jackson Walker
Jackson Walker, our long-time corporate partner, generously donates
attorneys' time for a cost-free legal hotline. This is an exclusive
benefit for NAWBO D/FW members. The hotline provides legal advice
about minor problems we encounter as business owners in areas such
as real estate, corporate/securities, finance, environmental, tax,
labor and employment, creditors' rights, litigation and intellectual
property.
Issues addressed might include, for example, questions
on incorporating a business, terminating an employee, or responding
when a lawsuit or subpoena has been served on the member's business.
The hotline is designed to address legal questions that can be answered
in 10-15 minutes, without significant research, and to provide guidance
as to what legal actions may be appropriate or necessary.
Jackson Walker cannot become involved in disputes
that require an extensive time commitment. If the legal problems
should become serious or require extensive involvement by an attorney,
the member is free to seek counsel of her choice. If the member
requests, Jackson Walker may represent you in the matter or refer
you to another attorney. Any representation and related charges
would be reviewed with you in advance.
To use this free, exclusive NAWBO D/FW
