Do you know what your business should keep?

As a small business owner, navigating the deep waters of IRS requirements can seem daunting. Velena McRae will help us figure out how to steer clear of issues and provide us with helpful information and resources that the IRS offers.

Most importantly, Velena will provide us with crucial changes and dates we all need to understand this tax year.

ABOUT VELENA

Velena McRae is currently a Senior Stakeholder Specialist. She focuses on the local engagement of the payroll and practitioner community and stakeholder organizations to provide information about the policies, practices, and procedures the IRS uses to ensure compliance with the tax laws.

McRae started her career with the IRS in 1994 as a Revenue Agent in Dallas, TX.  She examined high income taxpayers, large businesses, corporations, and partnerships. For several years McRae specialized in Innocent Spouse cases and before becoming a Stakeholder Liaison, McRae worked as an agent in the Abusive Transaction and Tax Avoidance schemes group.

McRae has a B.S. Degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration.
