How to Survive Thrive in this Recession!

Presented by Tom Niesen, Founder and CEO, Acuity Systems, Inc.

There is bad news and good news. The bad news is that the recession continues; the good news is that there is opportunity for new ideas tied to core truths. Companies that are willing to break away from the old “norms” can thrive and make money. A good recession clears out weak competitors just in time for you to take that business. A good recession teaches you the critical items that need managing, what leadership really means, and you will learn it all fast. A good recession has created such great companies as IBM, Fed X, Ryan Air, Southwest Air, Walmart, Dominos, Mary Kay, and P & G, to name a few.

Tom Niesen goes through his real world RULES for thriving in a Recession….this is more than just theory. He will show how he used these rules to survive the 2nd quarter of this last year which was his worst quarter since starting his business and will end up 2009 a little ahead of 2008 and more profitable. And, Tom will share 4 rules you can start to use before you leave the luncheon.

You will also realize:

  • How to Think differently in a recession!
  • How to Lead differently in a recession!
  • How to Act differently in a recession!
  • How to Sell differently in a recession!
