Handling Confrontation with Emotional Intelligence

Every business owner and leader must learn to manage their emotions, and be assertive yet relational.  This is easier said than done and our Speaker, Elaine Morris, will provide great tools to accelerate our growth and ability to be fully powerful in any situation.

Elaine Morris, an executive coach for 25 years, to upper level executives, will be here in February to take you through a high content mini workshop on Emotional Intelligence and how to handle confrontations successfully.

About the Speaker:

Elaine Morris is the founder of Sea Change Inc, an organizational effectiveness firm based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. An executive coach, management consultant and speaker for the past 23 years, Elaine works with top level leaders to build innovative and rewarding work environments.

Elaine is certified in two emotional intelligence instruments, the 360 ECI (Emotional Competency Inventory) distributed by the Hay/McBer group, an affiliate of Daniel Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence Services. Goleman brought “Emotional Intelligence” into our vocabulary through his ground-breaking book, Emotional Intelligence in 1995 and more recently through the best-seller, Primal Leadership. Elaine is also certified in the Bar-On EQI and EQ 360 assessment tools developed by Dr. Reuven Bar-on, and distributed by MHS. This tool is the most widely used of the EQ instruments and is approved by the American Psychological Association.

Elaine’s holds an Executive MBA from Nova University.
