Our own NAWBO D/FW Chapter past President, Wanda Brice, has won the Dallas Business Journal’s Women in Business Award.  Brice is the CEO of the Women’s Museum.  She was one of our featured speakers at the recent NAWBO Gala, “Where we have Been.” 

According to the DBJ, the Women’s Museum, “an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, wasn’t living up to its potential; it had no formal programs and little visibility. Brice was brought in to oversee the nonprofit and figure out ways to incease its popularity and awareness.  She subsequently developed educational and empowering programs for girls and women.”
