About Wise Council
Want an advisory board for your business? A Wise Council
group may be just what you are looking for! Wise Council groups are
small groups of women business owners that meet regularly to brainstorm
and share information in a confidential setting about growing and
succeeding in business. These groups consist of approximately 8-12
businesswomen in non-competing industries. These groups meet regularly
in an informal, advisory board setting and provide the opportunity
to forge new friendships and foster mentoring relationships in the
world of business ownership.
The idea of Wise Council came from Napoleon Hill who
wrote the book “Think and Grow Rich”. His premise is that the more
creative minds there are to solve a problem, the more synergy there
will be created.

for an article by Valerie Freeman, a very successful Dallas entrepreneur
and past NAWBO D/FW president, on how joining a peer coaching group
benefits small business owners.
Many members say that Wise Council groups are one of
the greatest benefits of their NAWBO D/FW membership. There is no
additional cost to join a Wise Council group. For information contact
the Wise Council director
on the NAWBO D/FW Board.
