Restart from the Heart, a project of NAWBO Capital Concepts, is an effort by local business women to help women business owners displaced by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita to restart their businesses and their lives. Generous donations from local businesses make the following programs a reality:

Adopt-a-Firm is a program that matches a woman business owner with a local firm in their industry or in a synergistic industry so they may pursue business together.

The Business Center will provide a business location, office equipment, and a network of other business owners for a period of up to one year at low or no cost to a woman business owner.

Rebuilding Support will provide education, mentoring, coaching, networking, and social events to connect these women business owners with local business owners.
