As THE voice for women business owners, the National
Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) attracts, supports and motivates
women entrepreneurs through dynamic programming, committed and influential
corporate partners, membership growth, financial strength and professionalism.
We are a professional and powerful association that propels women business
owners to success in the local and global business and political arena.

As an organization with a customer first philosophy, NAWBO: Strengthens
the wealth-creating capacity of our members and promotes economic development;
Creates innovative and effective changes in business culture;
Builds strategic alliances, coalitions, and affiliations; and
Transforms public policy and influences opinion makers.

NAWBO propels women entrepreneurs into economic, social and political
spheres of power worldwide.

Community: NAWBO promotes a sense of belonging to share our vulnerability,
celebrate our diversity, and exercise our strength with one voice.
Power: NAWBO harnesses the collective energy, ideas and direction
of its members to impact personal situations and group opportunities.
Respect: NAWBO acknowledges and honors each member's right to be
an authentic and unique individual, recognizing the strength our diversity
brings to the group as a whole.
Knowledge: NAWBO facilitates the sharing of information, which
challenges us to achieve our personal and professional best.
Integrity: NAWBO embraces integrity as the standard which guides
our behavior, actions and attitudes toward one another and as a group.

In principle and in practice NAWBO values and seeks a diverse and inclusive
membership. We shall seek full participation in the organization by all
women business owners regardless of race, creed, age, sexual orientation,
national origin, or disability. NAWBO's goal is to fully represent the
diverse make-up of the women business owner community through increased
representation within ethnic and minority communities and to expand access
to leadership opportunities.
